Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Abu 'Awanah, from Abu Bishr, from 'Amr ibn Haram, from Jabir ibn Zayd, from Ibn Abbas, regarding a man who divorced his wife once, then accused her of adultery (qadhf). He said: "He is to be flogged with the prescribed punishment (hadd); he is not like one who did not divorce." And Ibn Umar said: "He performs li'an (imprecation) if he possesses the right of revocation."
