Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:78

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah and Yahya, from Nafi’, who said: A slave of Ibn Umar stole, so he sent him to Sa’id ibn al-’As and said: "Indeed, this one has stolen." He (Sa’id) said: "Cut him." He (Ibn Umar) said: "The runaway slave is not to be cut."
