Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Maryam, from Humayd ibn Fulan ibn Ruman, that Abu al-Darda’ forbade that a prescribed punishment (hadd) be carried out upon anyone in the land of the enemy.
