Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Zakariyya, from Jabir, from Amir, that he was asked about a man whose right hand they wanted to cut off, so he presented his left hand and it was cut off. He said: The right hand is not to be cut off.
