Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmala, who said: A neighbor of mine divorced [his wife] while he was intoxicated, so he ordered me to ask Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib. He [Sa'id] said: "The prescribed punishment (hadd) is to be applied to him; he is to be flogged eighty [lashes], and he is to be separated from his wife."
