Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, regarding the *umm al-walad* (a slave woman who has borne a child to her master) who commits adultery. He said: The prescribed punishment (*hadd*) of a slave woman is to be carried out upon her, and she remains in her status.
