Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, who said: I heard Ibn al-Zubayr saying: "Whoever raises a weapon and then puts it down, his blood is wasted (i.e., he may be killed without retribution)." He said: And Tawus used to hold that view.
