Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:937

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, he said: Do not let the Jews and the Christians dwell with you, unless they submit (to Islam). Whoever among them submits and then apostatizes, do not strike anything except his neck.
