Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:944

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from his father, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, who said: "The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger" (5:33). He said: If he goes out and terrifies the path and takes wealth, his hand and his foot are cut off from opposite sides. If he terrifies the path and does not take wealth, he is banished. If he kills, he is killed. If he terrifies the path, takes wealth, and kills, he is crucified.
