Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jabir, from Amir, who said: Women are to be struck with a striking that is less than a striking, and with a whip that is less than a whip. Their faces are to be avoided, they are not to be stretched out, and they are not to be stripped.
