Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, who said: Women are not to be stripped, nor are they to be stretched out. They are to be struck with a strike that is less than a strike, and a whip that is less than a whip, and their faces are to be avoided.
