Hadith 12:132
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, from Usama, from al-Qasim, regarding a man who shot game on a high cliff, and it tumbled down until it fell to the ground and was dead. He said: If he knows that it died from his shot, he may eat it. And if he doubts whether it died from the fall, he shall not eat it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو بكر الحنفي عن أسامة عن القاسم في رجل رمى صيدا على شاهقة فتردى حتى وقع على الأرض وهو ميت قال إن كان يعلم أنه مات من رميته أكل وإن شك أنه مات من التردي لم يأكل
