Hadith 12:140
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Abu Ma'shar, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who strikes game with an object, and a part of it is severed, and the part containing the head remains attached: He said: He shall not eat what was severed from it. But if they both fell [dead] together, he may eat it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الرحيم عن سعيد عن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم في الرجل يضرب الصيد بالشيء فيبين منه الشيء ويتحامل ما كان فيه الرأس قال لا يأكل ما أبان منه وإن وقعا جميعا أكله
