Hadith 12:144
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, who said: If the game falls into the snare and there is iron in it, and the game strikes the iron, then eat. But if it does not strike the iron, and you do not reach its slaughtering, then do not eat.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن الحسن قال إذا وقع الصيد في الحبالة فكان فيها حديدة فأصاب الصيد الحديدة فكل وإن لم يصب الحديدة فإن لم تدرك ذكاته فلا تأكل
