Hadith 12:162
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Umar ibn Ayyub narrated to us, from Mughirah ibn Ziyad, from Makhul, who said: As for the *mi'rad* (a blunt-headed arrow), some people used to dislike it, and he said: It is *mawqudhah* (an animal killed by a blunt object). However, if it pierces, then [it is permissible].
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عمر بن أيوب عن مغيرة بن زياد عن مكحول قال اما المعراض فقد كان ناس يكرهونه وقال هو موقوذة ولكن إذا خزق
