Hadith 12:167
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Isa ibn al-Mughirah, he said: I asked al-Sha'bi about the *mi'rad* (a hunting stick) and the *bunduqah* (pellet bow). He said: "That is what the people of al-Sham issue fatwas regarding," and it was as if he did not view it [as permissible].
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن إدريس عن عيسى بن المغيرة قال سألت الشعبي عن المعراض والبندقة فقال ذلك ما يفتي به أهل الشام وإذا هو لا يراه
