Hadith 12:18
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Dawud informed us, from al-Sha'bi, who said: If you send your dog and it eats, then it has only caught for itself, so do not eat, for it has not learned what you taught it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا يزيد بن هارون قال أنا داود عن الشعبي قال إذا أرسلت كلبك فأكل فإنما أمسك على نفسه فلا تأكل فإنه لم يتعلم ما علمته
