Hadith 12:229
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from his father, from Abayah ibn Rifa'ah, from his grandfather Rafi' ibn Khadij, who said: We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when a camel ran away. A man struck it with a sword, and this was mentioned to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: "These animals have wild tendencies like the tendencies of wild beasts, so whatever of them runs away from you, do to it like this."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن سفيان عن أبيه عن عباية بن رفاعة عن جده رافع بن خديج قال كنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فند بعير فضربه رجل بالسيف فذكر للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال إن هذه البهائم لها أوابد كأوابد الوحش فما ند عليكم منها فاصنعوا به هكذا
