Hadith 12:257
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from ‘Ata’ ibn Yasar, that a young boy from Banu Harithah was herding a milch camel of ours, and death came to it while he did not have with him anything to slaughter it with. So he took a peg and slaughtered it. Then he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he commanded him to eat it.
