Hadith 12:271
Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad bin Salamah, from Abu al-‘Ushara’, from his father, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is slaughtering (dhabh) only in the throat and the upper chest (labbah)?" He said, "If you were to pierce its thigh, it would suffice you."
حدثنا وكيع عن حماد بن سلمة عن أبي العشراء عن أبيه قال قلت يا رسول الله ما تكون الذكاة إلا في الحلق واللبة فقال لو طعنت في فخذها لأجزاك
