Hadith 12:285
Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: They used to grant a concession regarding the strangled animal, the beaten animal, and the fallen animal, except for what you have slaughtered. Then Allah prohibited all of that.
حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه عن أبي [ مجلز ] قال كانوا يرخصون في المنخنقة والموقوذة والمتردية إلا ما ذكيتم ثم حرم الله ذلك كله
