Hadith 12:289
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah ibn ‘Ammar, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, from Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah, who said: When the day of Khaybar arrived, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prohibited *al-mujaththamah* (animals used as targets for shooting), *al-khulsah* (plunder taken by stealth), and *al-nahbah* (plunder taken openly).
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم عن عكرمة بن عمار عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي سلمة عن جابر بن عبد الله قال لما كان يوم خيبر حرم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المجثمة والخلسة والنهبة
