Hadith 12:29
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are a people who hunt, so what is lawful for us and what is unlawful for us?" He said, "Lawful for you is what you have taught of the birds and beasts of prey, training them from what Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah over it." I said, "Even if it kills [the prey]?" He said, "Even if it kills it." He said, "And if other dogs mix with it, do not eat, until you know that it is your dog that caught it."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا محمد بن فضيل عن مجالد عن الشعبي عن عدي بن حاتم قال قلت يا رسول الله إنا قوم نصيد فما يحل لنا وما يحرم علينا قال يحل لكم @QB@ وما علمتم من الجوارح مكلبين تعلمونهن مما علمكم الله فكلوا مما أمسكن عليكم واذكروا اسم الله عليه @QE@ 1 قال قلت وإن قتل قال وإن قتل قال وإن خالطها كلاب أخر فلا تأكل حتى تعلم أن كلبك هو الذي أخذه
