Hadith 12:296
Yazid narrated to us, I was informed by Shu'bah, from Hisham bin Zayd bin Anas, who said: I entered the governor's palace with Anas, and they had set up a chicken and were shooting at it. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that animals be tied up [for target practice].
حدثنا يزيد أنا شعبة عن هشام بن زيد بن أنس قال دخلت مع أنس دار الإمارة وقد نصبوا دجاجة وهم يرمونها فقال نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن تصبر البهائم
