19864. Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Bukayr ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Ashajj, from Ubayd ibn Ya'la, from Abu Ayyub, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbidding the *sabr* (tying up and shooting) of an animal. And I would not like to have performed *sabr* on a chicken, even if I were to have such and such [amount of wealth].
