Hadith 12:307
Abu Bakr narrated to us, Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, who said: Everything that is picked up by birds is harmless. And everything that tears with its beak or seizes with its talons, its meat was disliked. And the meat of the shrike (surad) was disliked.
حدثنا أبو بكر نا عبد الرحيم عن ليث عن مجاهد قال كل شيء لقط من الطير فليس به بأس وكل شيء نهش بمنقاره أو أخذ بمخلابه فكان يكره [ لحمه ] وكان يكره لحم [ الصرد ]
