Hadith 12:358
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the killing of dogs, to the extent that a woman would enter with a dog, and it would be killed before she could leave. He said: "Were it not that dogs are a nation among the nations, I would have ordered their killing. So kill from among them every jet-black one that has two spots between its eyes, for it is a devil."
حدثنا يونس بن محمد عن حماد بن سلمة عن أبي الزبير عن جابر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر بقتل الكلاب حتى أن المرأة كانت تدخل بالكلب فيقتل قبل أن يخرج قال لولا أن الكلاب أمة من الأمم لأمرت بقتلها فاقتلوا منها كل أسود بهيم الذي بين عينيه نقطتان فإنه شيطان
