Hadith 12:368
Waki' narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "For everything there is a sanctity, and the sanctity of the beasts is their faces."
حدثنا وكيع عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لكل شيء حرمة وحرمة البهائم وجوهها
