Hadith 12:379
Khalid ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from Malik ibn Anas, from Yazid ibn Khusayfah, from al-Sa’ib ibn Yazid, from Sufyan ibn Abi Zuhayr, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "Whoever acquires a dog that does not benefit him for cultivation or livestock, a qirat of his reward decreases every day."
حدثنا خالد بن مخلد عن مالك بن أنس عن يزيد بن خصيفة عن السائب بن يزيد عن سفيان بن أبي زهير قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من اقتنى كلبا لا يغني عنه زرع ولا ضرع نقص من أجره كل يوم قيراط
