Hadith 12:70
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, from Abu Hurrah, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who caught up with his dog while it was hunting, and he reached the prey while it still had a glimmer of life, then it died in his hands. He said: If the dog was trained for hunting, then let him eat it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو داود عن أبي حرة عن الحسن في رجل أدرك كلبه على صيد فأدرك الصيد وبه رمق فمات في يديه فقال إذا كان الكلب مكلبا فليأكل
