Hadith 12:96
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Al-Muharibi narrated to us, from Al-Shaybani, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, that he used to dislike the hunting of the dog and the cheetah if it ate from it. And he saw no harm in the hunting of the falcon if it ate, because the dog and the cheetah are struck (to be trained), while the falcon is not struck.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا المحاربي عن الشيباني عن حماد عن إبراهيم أنه كان يكره صيد الكلب والفهد إذا أكل منه وكان لا يرى بأسا بصيد البازي إذا أكل لأن الكلب والفهد يضربان والباز لا يضرب
