Husayn ibn Ali, from Za’idah, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from al-Hakam, from Abdullah ibn Shaddad, from the daughter of Hamzah—Muhammad said: "And she is the sister of Ibn Shaddad through his mother"—she said: "A freed slave of mine died and left behind a daughter. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) divided his wealth between me and his daughter. He assigned the half to me and the half to her."
