Hammad bin Khalid narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah bin Salih, from Abu al-Zahiriyah, who said: Abu Bakr—I think he said from Jubayr bin Nufayr—said: I was sitting with Abu al-Darda', and he was a judge, when a man came to him and said: "The son of my mother has died and did not leave behind an heir, so what is your opinion regarding his wealth?" He said: "Go and take possession of it."
