Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:130

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Hayyan al-Ju’fi, from Suwayd ibn Ghafala, that Ali was approached regarding a daughter, a wife, and freed slaves (mawali). He gave the daughter half, and the wife the eighth, and he returned what remained to the daughter, and he did not give the freed slaves anything.
