Hadith 26:134

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, who said: I was walking with him, and a woman caught up to him at the blacksmiths' market. She said, "Your female client (mawlatuka) has died, so take her inheritance." He said, "It is for you." She said, "May Allah bless you in it. As for me, had it been mine, I would not have left it for you." And he was in need on that day for less than his share of her inheritance, which was five dirhams. I said to him, "What is this [relation] to her?" He said, "She is her sister's daughter from her mother."

حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن علقمة قال كنت أمشي معه فأدركته امرأة عند الصياقلة قالت إن مولاتك قد ماتت فخذ ميراثها قال هو لك فقالت بارك الله لك فيه أما إنه لو كان لي لم أدعه لك وإنه لمحتاج يومئذ إلى دون نصيبه من ميراثها من خمسة دراهم فقلت له ما هذه منها قال ابنة أختها لأمها
