Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from ‘Abdullah ibn Salamah, from ‘Ali, that he used to divide [the inheritance] with the grandfather alongside the brothers down to one-sixth.
