Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Bassam, from Fudayl, from Ibrahim, who said regarding a woman who left behind her husband, her mother, four sisters of hers from her father and mother, and her grandfather: Zayd judged regarding it that the husband has three shares, the mother has one share, the grandfather has one share, and the sisters have one share. Ali and Abdullah judged regarding it based on nine shares: the husband has three shares, the mother has one share, the grandfather has one share, and the sisters have four shares. Abu Bakr said: So this, according to the statement of Zayd, is out of six shares, and according to the statement of Ali and Abdullah, it is out of nine shares.
