Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:253

Narrated to us Abd al-A’la, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, that he used to grant inheritance to three grandmothers. And he would say: "Whichever of them was closer, it is for her to the exclusion of the other. And if they were equal, then it is between them."
