Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ash’ath, from al-Sha’bi, from Masruq, he said: Four grandmothers came, vying with one another to Masruq. So he gave an inheritance to three of them, and he cast aside the mother of the mother’s father.
