Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:281

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, that 'Uthman would not grant an inheritance to the paternal grandmother while her son was alive. Al-Zuhri said: And Ibn al-Zubayr died, and she was not granted an inheritance.
