Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Husayn, that a group of people drowned at the bridge of Manbij, so Umar made some of them inherit from others. Sufyan said to Abu Husayn: "Did you hear it from al-Sha’bi?" He said: "Yes."
