Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:318

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, that he used to grant inheritance to the living from the dead, and he did not grant inheritance to the drowned [people] from one another.
