'Abd al-Salam narrated to us, from al-Harith ibn Hudayrah, from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: When 'Ali stoned the woman, he said to her family: "This is your son; you inherit from him, and he does not inherit from you. And if he commits a crime, then it is upon you."
