Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:363

Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, that Qatadah, a man from Banu Mudlij, killed his son. 'Umar ibn al-Khattab took for him (as blood money) one hundred camels: thirty hiqqah, thirty jadha'ah, and forty khalifah. And he said to the father of the slain: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'There is no inheritance for a killer.'"
