Hammad ibn Mas'adah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Abi 'Awn, who said: Muhammad ibn Jubayr said: The intentional killer does not inherit anything from the blood money (diyah) nor from anything else. The killer by mistake does not inherit anything from the blood money, but he inherits from other than it, if there is any.
