Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:377

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, who said: If his ward (or relative) kills him by mistake, he inherits from his wealth, but he does not inherit from his blood money (diyah). And if he kills him intentionally, he does not inherit from his wealth, nor from his blood money.
