Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:378

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Ali, regarding a man who killed his mother. He said: "If it was a mistake, he inherits; and if it was intentional, he does not inherit." Waki’ said: "A killer does not inherit, neither intentionally nor by mistake, from the blood money nor from the wealth."
