Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Zakariya narrated to us, from ‘Amir, regarding a man who emancipated a slave of his as a *sa’ibah* (a type of pre-Islamic emancipation where the master renounces inheritance rights). He said: The inheritance belongs to his master.
