Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:418

Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: A man does not inherit from anyone other than the people of his own religion, unless it be a man's slave or his slave-woman.
