Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Abi Hakim, from 'Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, from Abu al-Aswad al-Du'ali, who said: Mu'adh was in Yemen, and they brought a case before him regarding a Jew who died and left behind a Muslim brother. Mu'adh said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Indeed, Islam increases and does not decrease.'" So he granted him the inheritance.
